Three Sisters Viewpoint Walk

1 km
Distance
30m
Elevation
20-30 minutes
Duration

This is the classic Glen Coe photo — the A82 sweeping into the valley with the Three Sisters (Beinn Fhada, Gearr Aonach, and Aonach Dubh) towering on the left. It's the image that appears on every guidebook cover, and it's accessible with just a short walk from the layby.

The viewpoint is just off the A82 at the large layby near Altnafeadh. A short path leads to an elevated position with the full panorama laid out before you. In autumn, with the bracken turned gold and clouds swirling around the peaks, it's genuinely breathtaking.

This is a quick stop, not a real hike, but it's unmissable. Time your visit for golden hour if you can.
